If I Only Had A
Gotcha! No, I wasn't going to say 'brain'. I was going to say '$900 laying around'. Why? Well since you asked so nicely I will tell you. Dell is activating a '$750 off $1499 or more' coupon on its Inspiron notebooks this morning at 8:00 AM my time. Whaaaaa!!! I could configure a top of the line notebook and get it half off. The coupon details are as follows:

Just for fun, I've configured a notebook and then wept afterward. The details of my Inspiron 6000:
$1,805 -
Free UPS Ground Shipping - $49 value= $1,805
$750 Off Coupon Code = $1,055 before sales tax
OK, I need to configure it cheaper. I want it to be around $900. Will now try again.
I'm getting into the shower now to wash away my tears. :(
Update at 9:30 AM - The coupon code has expired. Oh well. LOL

Doesn't that suck? That kind of crap happens to me too. My fave crappy situation (if there can be a fave)? Showing up at a fast food restaurant 1 minute after they stop serving breakfast. Yeah right, like at 10:30 all your breakfast items vanish into thin air.
Wow. I can get off topic huh?
I'm getting a new laptop soon; my husband wants me to get the G5, but the G4's are getting really cheap, and I don't really need the power of a G5, so... we'll see.
This is the Dell I just ordered --
Inspiron 6000
Intel® Celeron® M Processor 350 (1.30 GHz/1MB Cache/400MHz FSB), Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Qty: 1

Damn, I was excited there for a minute.
